Welcome back that same old place that you live for the now since you hung around, but those dreams have remained, and they have turned around.

Welcome back.

Welcome back.

Hey, what's going on?

Y'all?

Welcome back.

All right, just kind of just hold on give it a stretch just to stretch it out.

Especially if you were here earlier, you know, mean before the actual break session was actually, you know, doing some work.

Yeah.

Just kind of stretch it out.

Maybe get up.

I am saying and just, you know stretch it out walks around the room a couple of times.

What have you?

But welcome, welcome to until it dot works.

The second cipher for today.

Yeah, so we had one earlier.

So let me break it down and I just said it, where they may not be familiar with Cipher.

There are three-hour blocks, right, and we do to ciphers every well for me.

It's Sunday.

So each Cipher consists of two sessions.

There is the work session which is 45 minutes and there's the break session which is 15 minutes so that as you can tell, there's like three of each.

That's how I get three hours.

So what you just hopefully experience if you came here a bit earlier, was the work session, and I am going to go over the work session.

So you kind of know where things are.

So that's what we do on these first break sessions.

It's kind of given like orientation of things.

Alright, so right now you're in, we are in the break session.

And this is where like I said to get a chance to stretch, stretch your leg get up, you know walk around, do what you got to do.

You don't have to like sit here and watch me.

I am just going to spend some time doing whatever.

Yeah, I mean like where I find interesting or maybe have somebody come on and talk about something that they find interesting.

So I will talk about how you can do that as well.

Oh, I forgot to enable the speech recognition.

All right, let me do that.

Now cool, just in case.

So we will talk about that.

But right now we're in the Brixton.

This video is where you're seeing my face.

This is there's a pop-up 15 minutes after the hour, you know, give you some time to kind of let your mind relax because you just been working on something and you just kind of want to just, you know, this let it go a little bit, you know, because we come back and be refreshed and be able to tackle any issues that you may have been running into.

Sometimes you just have to like walk away, you know, I mean because sometimes just staring at a problem is not going to make it any better.

So there's that's what the can use the brake systems to break it up.

Why they called brakes cool.

Now below that you say that you see that you may need to click play to start the video because in browsers, you can't have autoplay video and audio.

Happening on a site that you just landed on if you haven't interacted with it.

So if you ever come, and we're in the middle of a break and you just land right on the page, then it may look Frozen.

You have to click the play button.

All right.

I am I am thinking about I am working on another project where it's something similar, it deals with like live streaming.

And so that player I think I am going to have autoplay but be muted.

So that's why sometimes when you go to like, When like twitch or YouTube, if they're live, then you will see like, you need to click unmute to hear it, like you will be playing but you won't be able to hear anything and that's because of the rules set inside of the browser.

All right, cool.

So next to that.

I have some well, now, I have the speech recognition API that's built into the Chrome browser, that's taking what I am saying and turning into text, and if you click that, In closed caption that will open up like a box or a space.

And hopefully, my text.

Well, my speech is being translated, hopefully correctly to text.

So got that, they're below, that we have got some two buttons.

There's adequate which I just clicked and create a highlight video.

So, if there's anything that happens Within These break sessions that you found like, oh, That could be helpful or interesting or you want to draw attention to, you can click add a clip and now go back like a couple of seconds.

And then forward is a total of five seconds, each clip and you get five of those.

And so once you're all said and done, you click create a highlight video and then that will save the time stamps.

And then I have this whole process that happens in the back.

End when I hit stop broadcast, does a bunch of stuff and it will spit out your Like video that you can take a look at and send on social media if you so choose.

Alright, then we also have the countdown timer that is counting down to when we go to our next.

Session, which is the work session.

I am sorry.

I had like a my brain is kind of froze there.

But yeah, so 15.

So it's counting this countdown timer is counting down to when the next work session happens.

And then yeah, and then there's a link like a button to the join the room, you can log in with Twitter or GitHub and then you will be able to ask questions and chats.

Cool.

All right, so that's pretty much it for that.

Let me share my screen and show you what the work session is.

Like, so should we share not going to any audio?

Cool.

Now, here we go.

So, the background may be different, depending on its randomly, like chosen, like images of like the environments.

I found the, I find those kind of like calming and kind of like not distracting.

So just kind of like that.

We have their upper right-hand corner.

We have a menu, just like the menu up at the top now that doesn't change, but we have the home.

If you need to go to the until it dot Works homepage.

There's the shop.

If you want a t-shirt, what?

I am not gonna stop you subscribe now.

Scribe has all a list, has a list of all the upcoming ciphers that are happening, at least, through January.

So you're able to subscribe to an upcoming Cipher.

And when that Cipher goes live, you get a notification on the device that you subscribed with.

And, so I am using some webs stuff for that.

Some web apis and pretty happy.

I got that working.

So feels good.

All right, cool.

So that's subscribe and then you can logout login.

It's self-explanatory.

Then over on the other side, towards the top left corner.

We have a band camp player and I know a lot of talented artists musicians.

And so I asked a few of them.

Hey, would you be down to send me some music to submit some music to use in random projects and this being a random project.

I used it here.

And so if you want to listen to some really good Tunes while you're working on, whatever it is that you're working on.

You can just click the play button there and it being a band camp player means that you cannot purchase it.

You Share it.

And you can also if you would like to help spread the word, tweet it, and if you click that tweet word button, link thing that will open up Twitter and then new browser with Twitter and it will pre-populate a tweet ready to go with the artist information can help spread the word about it.

I mean, so if you like what you're hearing, spread the word, it doesn't cost anything and you can make a person's day.

You never know.

No, like somebody may see it and be like, oh, now listen to it.

It's my favorite artists.

And you know, you know, beef ants and help support.

I am thinking to supporting artists, especially independent artist.

All right, towards the center of the page, we have the to do section.

So this is where you add a list of to dues, for whatever it is that you're working on and you put it in the, add a task and you can type it.

There, press enter or hit the plus Button as it to the space there.

Space and center and then whenever so you can click the tasks like name and you get edited that way.

You can also delete it and then there's also like a checkbox that you can do and I will send it to the done section.

So you want to see what was done is click done.

Now what everything's all said and done, you can click the Twitter icon and then that will again open up Twitter and a new browser / window, and it will pre-populate a tweet with all.

The task that you got completed and so it's kind of like a nice way of like finalizing.

Like I am done for the day.

I did what I need to do.

I feel good about it.

I am going into the week feeling accomplished and productive.

Yeah, I mean, so that's hope that's at least.

That's what I get out of it.

So hopefully you also get that another countdown timer and this one is counting down to when the next break session will happen.

And again, those are 15 minutes after the hour below that we have some tutorials.

So I am a developer.

I make I made this website.

I like making random projects and coding has like changed my life.

I always say that and it seems like a lot of people are starting to get interested in coding.

So anytime anybody asked me about where to, you know, start to get a feel.

I always try to provide like free resources.

And so that way, it's not like, well, some people I guess may need the financial incentive like they paid for something, and so they're going to do it but I don't know.

I was doing it as like a hobby for a long time and was until recently I was like, we see if I can make a job out of this is worked out for me.

So that being said, I always tell folks like, hey, there's free code camp for dot-org and then there's also the Odin project and folks that I have known folks have gone through it, both of them and liked it and even recommended to me like when I asked him I make cuz I heard they do it.

I am like, what do you think about it?

They recommended like, It's a good place, good places because Odin project and free Coke a two separate things.

But yeah, so I believe that if you go through them, at least one of them, you will get a good feeling for what web development kind of is.

And if you want to decide to spend more time and more money into it to see, you know, do what you want to do.

I also have some other tutorials.

Let us say you already into coding but you just want to look for a project.

Just something kind of application you go to do kind of quickly and learn something new.

So I am a developer Advocate Advantage.

I am a JavaScript developer Advocate advantage.

And so part of that is like dealing with the tutorials.

And, so I have three tutorials there that I think are pretty cool.

And if you do them, I think you will be like you will feel good about application and you feel like you learned something.

So one of them is Application that you can build where it will.

You can put in a phone number into the, your application, click call, and I will actually ring a phone in the real world.

That's connected to that phone number.

You know, I mean, so that's cool.

We also have the opposite.

Oh, you can have a conversation.

So it's not just ringing the phone, but being able to hear each other through your application and the phone, it's kind of amazing.

Then there's the opposite tutorial where you dial in a virtual phone number and then your application will pick it up.

And it will ring your application.

You can have a conversation.

It's kind of cool.

And then there's also one where two, users log into an application and one can call the other, and they can have a conversation through application.

And that's what I use for the hot cocoa, which is the next thing.

So Jaco is help a coder / Creator out that let us say you're working on a project that could be a tutorials, could be the free code Camp, Odin project, whatever a gets stuck or maybe you finish something and you want to get feedback.

Got it.

Well, with the hakko, you can create your own room with your own unique URL.

You post that to social media.

What have you invited people into your room?

Now, when people join your room, they just don't join automatically.

They request to join the room, then you can see a list of people requesting in your Jaco and you can, you can look at their user name icon depending on if they logged in with Twitter or GitHub.

You can look at the profile page in this.

See if they is you want them to be a part of your hot cocoa.

Cool.

So now in your Jaco, you as the owner can share your screen and so that way you can actually show what it is that you want to get feedback or the issues you're running into.

So you can actually show it to the room so you can get some help or feedback.

Also, the way you get the feedback.

I have a text chat so you can Just, you know, regular texting, back and forth chat.

There's speech to text.

So if you just want to say the things and not have to worry about typing it out.

You can do that and that will take whatever you said and pop it into the text chat.

So other people can read.

Now, let us say you want to be, don't want to have to type anything or whatever.

Let us say, you're on another panel or page wherever you cannot look at the chat room.

I also have text to speech that you can activate and what that will do is it will whatever.

Text come through.

They will read it out loud for you so you can hear it.

So anyway that you want to communicate.

Hopefully you can't.

All right.

Now below that we have the show-and-tell sign up.

So if there's something that you found interesting along your journey and you want to talk about it really quickly like for 5 to 10 minutes, you can sign up to like a quick lightning talk and you will be able to talk about whatever they find.

Interesting.

It's a good way to practice like public speaking, I think.

So, I am a big fan of that and I Do as many lightning talks at meetups and stuff.

So I figured why not bring that to this.

So if you want to talk about something, feel free and then remember that video that you took the time stamps and sent it off to the back end for a process to happen to it.

Well, first right there, with this highlight status, will say submitted, because it's working on it.

And then once it's done, it looks like that.

And says, status done.

You have the click the view button, you will be able to preview the video.

You can download the video, you can hit tweet and again, I will open up Twitter in a brand-new browser / window with a link to the archive of the break.

Like the full thing that recorded what's cool is if it shows the we call it if it shows the preview video card that video will be your highlight clip and it's like customize it has like your username in it and everything is pretty cool.

Watch out.

You can check out my Twitter.

Lifelong dot Dev.

No, that's my website.

My Twitter is lifelong deaf.

And so, if you want to see an example, because see the thing is, sometimes they don't show the card.

I don't know if it's like, screen with or whatever or device or browser.

I don't know.

Sometimes it doesn't show.

It's what I have been doing is taking the downloads that I have been uploading to Instagram and I upload it to the Twitter.

Attach it to that tweet and I send that off at least that way.

I know that it's going to I show up cool and now that's it.

So, thank you.

Once again for hanging out.

I am going to get you all back to work.

And so that you can work on whatever it is that you're working on and I wish you much productivity must send you all out with some totally just did the same thing.

I did this eyes open the same screen thing.

All right, so send you all off with some traveling music.

This is a butter AKA.

Benny Cruz, the check is called.

Thank you.

And I want to thank you all for hanging out.

And, yeah, see you later.

Almost forgot to create a highlight video.

And yeah, see y'all soon.

Thanks again for hanging out.

All right, yet, one audio.

All right, y'all?

10 to 15 minutes after hours.

And next break session, right?

Much productivity to you.

I got some laundry to check on.

See you.
