Welcome back, your dreams were your ticket, welcome back that same old place the cheek, well then since you hung around but those dreams have remained, and they turn around.

What's going on DL?

Welcome back until the dot Works stretch.

Okay, that's good.

Alright, so, I hope everyone is doing well.

So time changed and it went back an hour and I as actually stayed up late last night after the radio show, finishing up some stuff working on a side project, and so I got even less sleep, but I was like, you know what, got these things to do.

And, so I am going to make it happen and that's why I do these.

So I created until it that works mostly for myself so that I hold myself accountable to work on projects.

I have been meaning to work on and the best way for me to do that is to Set aside time because I don't make time, I won't find time, right?

And so by me being here to do, like these livestreams these quick livestreams, I am already at the computer.

I am also work on my project, right?

Make sense to me.

So that's why I created it.

So until it got Works consists of ciphers, which are three-hour blocks of time within each Cipher.

There're two types of sessions.

There's a work session and a break session.

Now, the work sessions are just heads down, 45 minutes working on what you're working on, right?

Just focus work then 15 minutes after the hour, I pop on here and kind of force you to take a break.

So you get up walk around, drink some water or you can sit here watch me talk about stuff.

I found interesting on internet point is that you kind of let go of whatever it is that you're thinking of and let your mind kind of like relax a little bit, right?

And then when that's done go right back to another work session and it's three hours of that.

Cool.

So like I said, we're in a break session right now and you can tell because my face is Up top here.

Your face can also pop up here too.

If you want to talk about something you found interesting on the internet.

Now below this video, If you ever hop in, and we're in the middle of a break session, the video may look like it's frozen, and that's because browsers.

Don't allow for autoplay video with audio, so that's why little notice they're saying that.

Hey, if you may look like it's frozen, so you need to click play to start the street.

Then I would open closed caption.

So next to the video, if you click that button, a space will open up.

And hopefully my words are being turned into text accurately.

I am using the web speech recognition API that's built into Chrome browsers and so hopefully that will show up properly next to the video week, hoping that closed caption box.

Then there's two buttons, add a clip and create a highlight video.

If there's ever anything interesting, you found during these break sessions, you can click add a clip.

You will go back a couple of seconds and it will Mark a time stamp.

Each clip is 5 Seconds.

You get five of those.

All right, then before I hit stop broadcast on here.

If you could click that create highlight video will happen, is it will save those timestamps, take the recording of the break session cut out the time stamps.

Join them together, put an intro, put it out row and then you will be able to check out the highlight video.

I will show you how we can check that out.

Then there's another countdown timer countdown when next work session starts and then there's if you want to join the room to chat or ask questions, you can do that as well.

All right, cool.

So that is the work session.

Let us talk about not as a break session.

Let us talk about the work session.

I mean, I gotta go, do I just noticed that Google Slides?

The buttons have changed a little bit, like The Styling on them.

Don't know if I am like a like.

He I just noticed it okays, start screen share.

So, this is similar to what your work session will look like?

Now, the background may be different because it's just a randomly selected image, which I just found out that service that I am using, is shutting down in June, which is in, like, two months.

So I need to, I have an idea for an alternative, like, with my own picture so that way I will have to worry about them, getting shut down.

So I gotta make that I am going to add that to the list, okay.

Neither of their.

So on the top right?

We have a menu.

Mouse.

Look weird on there.

Let me stop screen sharing because the mouse and my preview looks weird.

Huh, give me a second here.

I thought screen share start screen.

Share.

Okay, entire screen, here we go.

Okay, let us see.

All right, looks better now.

I think that was weird.

All right.

So like I said we have a menu appear.

Take notice of subscribe that will have a list of all the upcoming ciphers that you can subscribe to get notified when we go live other side.

We have a band camp player.

So I asked some friends of mine who make really don't music to submit tracks for random projects that I make.

And so they did.

So I had them use their bandcamp accounts.

So that way, I created a band camp like playlist and so you will be able to check out the tracks so you won't listen to music while you're working on what you work on since the band camp where you can actually purchase the track, can also share it and I added this tweet link.

So if you want to tweet out and help support an artist by spreading the word, you can click that and it will, you know, mention the artist, then towards the center, we have a to do section where it says, add a task you type in the thing that you like to work on, hit the plus sign or enter.

And Add it to the list of tasks, you can click the word, the wording to edit the task.

You can click x button to delete it and then you can click the checkmark and to Market complete, right?

Then it will that does it send it to the done section so you can click done to see all the things you got completed and before I shut everything down, if you click the Twitter icon, it will open up Twitter and it will list all the things that you got completed with like no nice little green check mark next to it.

So kind of feels good to like end off the day with that.

Then we have a countdown timer over here to the right kind of the 1X break session happens and again that happens, 15 minutes after the hour, then we have this view tutorials.

So if you're coming to the site you like you just want to get Something done.

If you want to feel like but you don't know what yet maybe you want looking for inspiration or what have you?

So I have links to different tutorials.

If you're not familiar with coding and you want to kind of give it a shot, you know, dip your toe into it.

I have links to free code camp and the Odin project there and for I have seen from like the curriculum and what people have told me that I have gone through it that at the end of it, you will have like a good idea General understanding of what it takes to do, web development and from there, you can make an educated decision on whether or not you want spend more time.

And or In pursuing it, so there's that.

Then I am also, I have a three tutorials, I am a JavaScript developer, Advocate advantage and part of that is the kind of like look over certain tutorials that are in my Realm of the company.

So I have links to, I think the pretty cool tutorials where one, you create an application falling through the tutorial, and it has an input box.

You put in A phone number into the input box.

I get real-world phone, hit call.

And it will actually ring your real-world phone.

You have a conversation back and forth.

Then I have one where it's opposite where you get a virtual number from your real world phone.

You dial that virtual number and the application that you create, you can actually answer that call and have a conversation back and forth.

And then, the third one is where you have an application, you will put up into different windows and like to users login, right?

And one can call the other through the browser and can have a conversation.

Pretty cool stuff.

So there's that.

So those are the air.

If you're looking for like a cool project kind of get started, you want something kind of cool, and they Meegan roll into your own project, those are there for you, alright, Jaco will come back to show-and-tell sign up.

So like I said, you want to come up here and talk about where we find interesting on the internet.

Feel free to do that show until sign up a walking through that then that video that you have got sent to get created the highlight video first under that highlight section it will say status It that's what's being worked on and was ready to be viewed.

It's a status done and then you will be able to view button, you will be able to preview it.

You will be able to also is doing the weird thing again with the mouse.

Huh?

Just so weird.

So we're going to go through this really quick.

All right, so then you can view it there.

Let us see.

Does it go away?

No, it's still there.

That are so weird.

Huh.

Neither now will go through this real quick.

It's like five minutes left.

All right, so this is the hot cocoa.

Jaco sensor, help a coder /.

Creator out, right?

This is where.

If you get stuck on something you can use the cable.

Maybe could be the cable out later there.

My bad Focus.

So how Co help a coder / Creator out?

If you need help with something or you want feedback on something you create a Jaco, Jaco is a room where you can invite people into it and then you can actually Speak with each other, to get the help that you need interact with each other, right?

So if you were to click view, you will see the different tacos that me created.

You can create click the user's name to see their profile with a big GitHub or Twitter, the thing where they logged in with.

And then you can join the room, your to click create, you're presented with a form where you type putting the title and three keywords to help somebody like find it.

If they hit the Better to kind of see what it's about.

We quit create, you're presented with a URL.

A unique URL, you can copy the URL, you click the share to Twitter.

We enjoy your hot cocoa, it looks like this.

There is the title of the top.

Then we have the buttons on.

If you want to leave, there's a button there.

You can click open menu for some more options.

Then we on the right-hand side, we have A text chat right there on the left side, we have a countdown timer counter when next break session happens, then, you can also copy the URL.

You can click the share to Twitter again.

Now, when someone clicks your link, they just don't hop into your room automatically, right?

What happens is that they actually request to join your room, and they will show up under pending where you can click their username to check out either.

Again, they either GitHub or Twitter profile didn't depend on what they logged in with.

And from there you can approve or deny them.

Now if when you Do approve them and it turned out to be a terrible person.

Well, you can always ban them.

There you go, right?

So you can click band.

Now you as the creator of the Jaco only, you can share your screen and I did that because the whole point is for you to get help with what you need, right?

And I feel by sharing your screen.

The people in the room will be able to see what you're seeing and get a better context for what it is that you need and be able to help you out better.

I believe then like I said there's a text chat where you just put in the bottom there you type in what you want.

Hit send add it to a list of text chats right now?

I also added the ability to enable audio chat.

So that way, anybody who has an audio chat enabled would be able to speak to and hear each other.

And Talk that way and communicate that way but for people who don't have it enabled, don't worry because the speech that people are saying will be turned into text and added to the text chat so you can still follow along.

Then I have the opposite where it goes from text to speech.

So if you're not looking at the computer and you just want to kind of follow along and still be able to do that because your browser will read out all the different text messages.

All right, cool.

So that's that.

I think that's pretty much it.

Then all the different hot goes you can do there.

All right.

Cool.

And my mom.

That's so we were the mouse.

Oh no, I have to fix that neither here, nor there something, I will take a look at later.

Alright, stop screen share.

Cool.

So apparently I got to look into that.

I wanted was the cable.

Maybe we will see you next time.

Maybe it's just a weird glitch.

So with that being said, I am going to send you all back to work and thanks for hanging out.

Like I said, it did change some stuff to change with the Google Slides.

I am not sure you have some do that.

I have no clue but it does look different.

So I don't know if I am gonna send you all off with some traveling music because there's some stuff I want to get done and this is new Jabez featuring a Pawnee be.

The track is called.

Thank you.

Because again thanks for hanging out and I will see you around.

I get this shared till then I wish you much productivity thanks for hanging out and yeah, 50 minutes after our see you later and thanks for hanging out.

And I will be back.

It will take talk about something I thought you see unless you want to come up here and talk about something finishing on the internet.

All right thanks again for hanging out.

See you around.

Y'all be easy.

This is new job.

Ads featuring a Pawnee.

Be, thank you.
