Speaker is working on a project. They bought a gadget that will help them get videos done quickly. Speaker is going to share their screen. Speaker has created a website to chronicle their travels. They have been to greece and has a lot of pictures from there. Speaker likes the way drones look and they want to be able to do small videos with them.

Speaker explains what is going on in the game. Speaker is learning about the orbit and adding filters on snapchat. Speaker bought a camera. It costs 249 with the fight pack and a dual rechargeable battery pack. Each battery pack costs 20 $ and the charger costs 50 $. It's cheaper to get the pixie fight back. It's only available in france and while supplies last.

Speaker made some videos about the and plus. It's super light and is autonomous and doesn't need a license to pilot it. Speaker made a video at the station. There is no audio on the propellers and there is no fan blade sound. Speaker has a conversation with their co-host in the podcast room.

Speaker wants to post some quick clips to their website and use them as background clips for their longer videos. Speaker has some videos they took from the radio station and will show them to you.

Speaker has a smart phone. It has an infrared sensor, an led, two lights on the front and a status indicator. It's in standby mode now. Speaker has had a drone for a couple of days and likes it. They don't want to set up things and play with the controls. They just wants to get a quick shot. Speaker is going to be posting more videos on their website and on social media.

Speaker wants to see if they can follow them into the station. It's not the best way to do it. Speaker has a new video in the hallway. It's following them. Speaker thinks the camera follows them when they walk through places. Speaker is going to take it off and put it in a bag so they don't have it hanging off of them.

Speaker bought a drone. They hope it will be better than the previous one. Speaker has a use case for the drone and wants people to make their own decision. Speaker is going to get back to work. Speaker will see everyone 15 minutes after the hour for the final break session.

Speaker is interested in going on an outdoors trip. They will put the link to the instagram page where they can see it in action. Speaker wants to write a quick video, but they are not sure if they can get it this week.

All right, so let us jump right into it.

So, so far with my project, I figured out like the data that I want to be able to get back from the Forum.

So, that way I can create the form, make sure I have what I need to do.

I need to do on that page.

So yeah, it's coming together and making progress slowly but surely.

All right, so for this break session wanted to kind of talk about thing that I just purchased and anybody that knows me knows.

I like gadgets, I guess kind of but not just this regular Gadget stuff that will help me make things easier, right?

And so for like, example, I like thing I bought I think it will help me like get videos done quick-like different video, types of shots and things, you know, I mean without me having to worry about stuff.

I am just going to, so I created this site right?

I will pardon you audio but I think we're gonna look at some videos and stuff.

So, all right, so share.

And, so I made this site, I am going to add the URL to recorded video.

Doing stuff that I am, right.

And so it's just a site where I think I might have shown this before but it's a site that kind of Chronicles my travels, right?

Because I want to look back and like, oh, I remember that.

That's pretty cool, right?

And, so I made the site and so else, so I can go to For example, I can go to different places.

I have been to And so, like I was in Greece for a city JS Athens.

So let us use that as an example, right?

So that I can view the stories And, so I had to have random pictures of things, so like me waiting at the airport like the food on the plane.

Whatever.

And then I also do like 360.

Like 360 photos of like hotel rooms and things.

So just kind of, so I can kind of remember and you know that's a pretty nice hotel room too, but he was pretty cool too.

All right.

So stuff like that and I do like videos and things, right?

So I like the way like drones like look like aerial footage kind of but not like, I don't want to like take video of like overhead stuff, you know?

I mean like I want to be able to do like a little small thing.

So maybe like if I am standing somewhere, I kind of want to get a shot of a greater area for likes.

L, kind of thing, you know, I mean, and so a lot of times our trouble is just me unless I know people there or would have you, right?

And so, I saw this thing.

It was a while ago, I saw it.

And so it's from the same folks who make Snapchat it's called pixie, right?

And so it they call it a flying camera.

Like you see here, it says meet pixie your friendly flying camera and only put the URL here.

I will add that to the thing here.

And so when I first heard about it like they just announced it rights and but then it said like it'd be like it ship like 11 12 weeks or something like I am good, I am fine.

And so we scroll down.

It's a pretty nice site if I could scroll here go.

So, here is the same video I guess, quickly.

So yeah, so it's starting over again.

So yeah so it's made from the same folks make Snapchat, right?

And I was like, oh, that's a pretty cool-looking shots where we can just get like they called the reveal where it will just kind of like start close to you.

And then move back the kind of to Showcase to reveal like your surrounding area and so Let us see.

That was more.

Let us go to the I guess product.

Let us check it out.

And so while it is he really just turn a knob at the top to setting and it will just do that mode.

And so there's like a hover mode, which is this kind of like stays in front of you and like is if you move it will rotate to find you.

Basically, then there's like the follow which will actually follow you.

And then there's like the reveal I mentioned before will Start out in front of you and then slowly move back and up to kind of show everything around you.

So yeah.

So this, what is up to the scrolling on here?

And so, just more stuff, this And so, yeah.

So like here's the hover, right?

So let us look now.

So that's what it looks like.

So you can see with the hover, it's kind of tracking the person.

Which is pretty cool.

And so that's what it looks like with just hovering, then they have the reveal, which is pretty cool.

So you can see if that it moves back and kind of goes upwards.

You can set the distance and everything, so we will look like with the pixie.

And so it's will be moves back and kind of like upwards There's the follow.

And so follow you around and stuff and I have some pictures that I am going to show as well that I cut some videos I took and then this one's pretty cool.

The orbit.

And so it will just go around you in a circle and you can set the distance on how far you want it to be from you as it orbits around you.

And so, I was like, all right, that's pretty cool.

Wow, that's cool.

And then yeah.

So then what happens is once it's done doing, what I will do is I will come back and just put your hand under it and I will land your hand, it's kind of amazing stuff.

And so Then you get add filters.

And also, if you're on Snapchat and things, alright, learn And so yes, he's kind of like have the put up to like your eye level, press the button and then it will fly up, but make sure you choose the mode or whatever.

There's a camera below it and that kind of like with sees your hand and so knows where to land.

So yeah, those are the different knobs and yes a lot of cool stuff and it's USBC like so it's can charge and the battery is replaceable and so there's actually a kit where you can get extra batteries.

Of course, for my money.

I think it's under shot.

So yeah so you can see it's like 249 with the fight pack and so that comes with the thing and then dual rechargeable battery pack.

So a thing that you can plug it and select the USB C and then it will not charge Yeah, so here's the thing, the charger here, this with the battery looks like and then one on each side, it gets charged, like, with the USBC or USB cable, it uses USB.

See you can charge actually on in the device and the back as well.

All right, um but yeah but the packaging was pretty slick.

I really enjoy the package.

It's kind of Awesome.

Oh each batteries like 20 bucks and then the Dual battery chargers like $50 by itself.

So it's cheaper to get the pixie fight back.

And then I think, right?

For right now they're only yes the available in us and France while supplies last.

And so yeah, and then says each rechargeable battery holds like five to eight flights using the default flight modes so it's like 30 seconds or what have you I think you can.

Like a minute on some things and so but yeah.

Okay, cool.

And, so I was like, let me check this out, where the stuff do they have?

So they have an Instagram page, or do I put this up at this link in there, right?

Yeah, let me, I will put the link to the Instagram page.

That's how I want to kind of see it in action as well, right?

Oh yeah, so what happened was, when I first heard about it, it was like, yeah, it's going to take about like 11 to 12 weeks on my own.

I am good.

I have some upcoming trips, and so I for whatever I think I thought about it again or maybe I saw something, I like, well, let me check this thing out because he might be kind of cool for this trip because it's like Outdoors.

So I want to go to capture the whole thing and my arms are long, but I won't be able to capture like the whole out.

Whereas I want to write and so, I checked the site again and it's like oh it was ship like this week or something like you could get it this week.

Somebody that like it was shipped today like oh, and so I was like, all right, let me check you know to see if there's any stuff kind of about it and people are using it like, you know.

So I went to their of course if you go to their actual site is going to be the best like circumstances, you know, I mean, but, so I saw some people here And so this stuff is made for like just kind of like Quick videos, and they can post to like social media if anything and the way I want to use.

It is just like post, like quick things to my website and so and maybe use them as like background Clips like b-roll for my, like, longer videos that I do, you know?

I mean so because each V each like, every time I go out I always do like, like, Call them retrospectives, and they're just kind of like what I experienced on that trip kind of thing.

And so it'd be cool to be like, oh, the views were great and then have like a b-roll of the actual View kind of thing.

And so, yeah.

So this thing is just so you can see kind of hovering there and I mean, and for what it is, I mean, it's pretty cool, right against for like social media Quick videos, you're not gonna like shoot long-form videos on this thing because again, The batteries.

Don't last that long.

And so here's another one.

This is just like, flies from your hand and you can just As soon as that use a lot of dancers for it.

So I guess if you're a dancer it might be a good thing for you.

And yeah so okay so all that stuff is cool and everything.

Okay, so I have some videos I took from it and so as at this radio station, and so I will show because the show it to you.

Make the actual physical thing, but, so I did some videos because it's the wait, It's super light and is autonomous and so you don't have to worry about the controls or anything and with the size and the lightness of it, you don't need to like a license to Pilot it, because you're not piloting it your I mean so it's just it does what it does and doesn't get too far or high that I think it would because a problem.

Anyway, right.

So and plus is basically encased in like plastic.

So even like the Propellers like you'd have to really want to put your finger in there for it.

And even if you could like, get your finger in there, it's not going to like hurt or anything.

Well, it may sting, but it's not like you're going to lose a limb or something.

I mean, so there's that.

So, this is just at the station kind of took this video.

Oh, there's no audio.

Well, I guess for most Drone not like audio anyway.

Right?

Because you just fan blades and so this is just at the station.

And so here's on Hover and it's kind of like following me around, it's pretty cool.

So it's like 17 seconds and then I don't get to the net, you go.

And then here it is with my co-host in the back is that straight like that?

I am not sure.

Shut the beat unique.

And so that's just kind of like us in like the podcast room at the station.

And yeah, it is like it blew his mind.

He's like houses.

How's this thing working?

It's wild and so, Let us see, I have got some more.

So then this is it kind of like I wanted to see if we could follow me into the station, like through the hallways.

I want to see how narrow can get and so it kind of like lost me.

So I have like the jump up, so I guess we can recognize my face or something, and so I started walking and then it just like stopped, like it just didn't do well, it's not the best.

In low light situations either like you need to have like good lighting and it's kind of like dim in the hallway and the station.

Lizard.

Another one's well.

I kind of kept on going.

So here it is again in the hallway.

I Gotta Have It falling.

So it is like following me, which is pretty cool.

Again, it's pretty dim in the hallway, but it's doing pretty well.

I also did a reveal like where I am staying at but I want people to know I am at, so I am not going to do that.

So but yeah, so you see is follow me pretty well, not bad.

And so, like I said, a lot of times when I am traveling is just me by myself and so it almost took the corners almost there, but then just did one more.

So I kind of set up again.

So that it would I think it ran out of time because I think it was like 30 seconds.

I said it for.

And, so I think it was like, okay, times up until you can see it kind of dress Followed me like took the corner, which is pretty good in the kept on going.

And so for yeah like a little quick like b-roll stuff or whatever, I think it's kind of cool like be able to kind of walk through places and have it follows or whatever you're mean and so Yeah, like it did pretty well for what it is.

And so yeah.

So that's my experience that with it.

So far, let me stop my screen share.

Okay so this is comes like in his I think I saw showed it on probably comes in like this bumper case thing is like a strap to.

I am going to take it off and put it like in a bag so that way I don't have this thing hanging off of there but like this, it's pretty nice.

Rubber thing here, protects the lens down here.

I guess it's not too much importance to whatever it is.

It doesn't do too much but you know it's there's like an LED to show you like once it's on like the battery stuff.

Let me see like So yes, sir there.

So we can charge it.

And so, you see, it's just, I guess a lots up was.

Oh, that's like an infrared thing.

So, that's cool.

What?

No, well, nobody ever do you see it on the thing?

I don't know.

And then it has like a different mode here.

I am not going to turn around and do the kids by accident turned on, and so, Let me take it out of here.

It's out of there, right?

And then so it has like an LED or to two lights on the front and so it kind of tell you the status.

So the term like green, if it's good to go read it as a problem or if it's like where's that yellow?

I think it's just like chilling because it's in standby mode now.

So I have been pressing anything and then there's another light here that flashes but you know it's recording and then here's the USBC charge in the back again the battery there and like it's Pretty awesome on.

You can check out the video and everything but it's and it makes these like magical Whimsical tones which is amazing like is this it's fun to use you know?

I mean and so I like things like bear.

I just get a shot, I get a video.

I don't want to have to like set up things and like play with the controls and just get it to work.

I just want to get a quick shot.

Like, take it out, get the shot, put it back, and it's be good to go, you know, I mean, and so, yeah, I mean, it's so far.

I have had it for, like, a couple days and so, yeah, I think it's pretty cool.

I mean, of course, it's not like, for like any, like, hardcore drone folks or anything.

I mean, is, I don't think it's meant for that, but it's just like, if you want to get a quick shot, maybe your surrounding area or you want to get like an orbit shot or have it follows you through somewhere.

Easy and quick, you know, and a lot of stuff like I said, this is just for like social media.

So people are just looking it at it, on their phones.

And so very few people have like, high-definition phones.

We have, especially if it's on social media.

The video is not going to be that like high quality anyway, so just gotta kind of so out, I think it's pretty dope.

I am going to be posting more stuff like, on my site doing stuff that I am, and maybe to, like, social media and stuff too, but I think it's kind of cool.

All way to get some quick b-roll and that's what I am going to use it for.

So yeah.

And plus I am thinking by, you know, like supporting this type of stuff, it shows that there's like a demand and maybe they will make it better.

You don't mess the whole.

That's all we can hope for is that they will make it better, right?

And so what if it didn't sell, then why create it?

I think I saw another one that's similar.

So at least there's going to be look like there's competition and things, so hopefully they will drive it better to make him better.

So, Yeah, but yeah, for what it is I think it's pretty cool.

And yeah, so expect to see more random drone shots.
