Welcome back.

Your dreams were your ticket, welcome back.

Same old place.

That you laugh.

But those dreams everything.

Yo, what's going on?

Y'all?

Welcome back.

Oh, so this marks stretch it out.

This marks the second cipher.

Of the day, and I am ready to get into it.

Actually during the to ciphers.

I finish my laundry and I made some Headway on this project.

I have been working on and what I like to do is I do a lot of different projects.

And I like to kind of like increase the difficulty a little bit each time.

So that way, I am reinforcing the things I have kind of learned, but I am also kind of forcing myself to learn more by doing other things with it.

You know, I mean, so I am never really complacent.

I am always kind of, like, picking up new things.

And so, yeah, so I have been using like Astro with spelt but now I need to include other stuff with it.

And, so I am working on some stuff and seems to be working so far.

So not bad, feeling good feeling, good about it, and we will see some I am hoping.

To get it working in, like done to the point I need.

So then I can move on to another part, which is like the front-end part because this is a part that kind of comes with it, but it's important part.

So I have got like, the dashboard basically working, like the admin part and then that is needed to display this other stuff.

But it depends on other factors, kind of things.

And then I am going to have the front end.

We're just going to take that part of this.

The important stuff that I created from the back end and put it inside.

So, yeah, should be good.

Should be good.

Should be good.

All right, cool.

So again, welcome to until it works until it dot works.

And yeah, like I said, this is a cipher and ciphers are three-hour blocks of time.

And I do two of them a week.

And so each three-hour block, Cipher consists of two types of sessions.

One session being the work session depending on.

When you came in, you may have been in the work session.

I will show you what that looks like.

And then this break section, right session and with a break session, it's the kind of like from all the work and stuff.

You have been focusing on your thing.

And you're just trying to get it done.

And now it's time to break any kind of like stretch, you know, take a lap around something, you know, get up and walk around or what.

Have you done something gets?

Maybe get something to eat real quick or what have you, you know, I mean, just kind of like, let your mind rest from the things you're doing and that's when I come on and talk about whatever Randomness, and you can also come on and talk about whatever Randomness you want to as well.

If not, I am going to talk about what I found, cool and then maybe look at an artist.

Site and listen some music.

So that being said, so that is what happens during a break session.

Now, you see the video with my face on their below that we have like a notice that you may need to click play to start the stream because if you ever jump on, and we're in the middle of a break session, the video may look like it's paused or Frozen and that's due to the fact that browsers don't allow for autoplay video that has audio.

Not muted.

So if I just had the audio muted and a video playing, you would see it, but you just have the quick to unmute it.

So I am thinking I might do that because I am working on another project.

I may try that out and see if that works any better, but we will see.

So, yeah, that's why you may need a quick start to start the stream.

Click play.

All right, then next to that right now, as I am speaking.

I have the web speech recognition API taking what I am saying.

And turning into text and putting it into the space that opens up when you click open closed caption.

So if you want to see what I am saying, hopefully accurately, you can click that and see some closed captions.

Hopefully.

All right, I am still working on better ways of doing that because I have a projects coming up where I want to do that better.

So we will see.

Alright, then below that, we have the adequate and create a highlight video.

If there's anything during these break sessions that you find noteworthy.

You can actually clip them out.

So you click add a clip, and we will go back about two seconds and record like a mark out like a five-second clip and you get five of those.

So then when you're done you just click create a highlights video and that will save all the different time stamps and your username that you use the sign in.

And when I click stop broadcast, it sends that information to the back end where it goes through.

Bunch of different services, and we will take the recorded video, cut out, those timestamps put them together.

Put on a custom intro outro and then show you so you can download it or you know, share it to social media.

All right, so that's that also there's the countdown timer.

So that's counting down to the 1 DEC the next work session starts then we also have if you want to join the chat room and you can just and you know, you can Ask questions as well, so you can do that as well.

Alright, now, let us talk about the work session.

This.

So I will see disconnect start screen share.

All right.

Cool.

So now, this is what the work session will look like the background may be different, because I randomly select a, like nature scene.

Can I find those to be calming and like able to focus on that then open upper right-hand corner?

We have the home shop, subscribe, and depending on your status, if you're logged in a logged out, subscribe is where you Find a list of all the upcoming ciphers and you will be able to subscribe to either all of them or specific ones and you will get notified on the device that you subscribed with when we go live cool, then on the other side, we have a player.

So if you want to listen to some music while you're working on your it, you can I have gotten to know some really amazing producers.

So I asked a few of them.

Hey, would you mind submitting some music for some projects?

I am creating.

And they did.

And so, that's where we have right here.

And so, it's a band camp player.

And so, you can buy the track, you can share it.

And then, if you want help spread the word, you can tweet about it.

Alright, then towards the center, we have the to do section, and you just where it says, add a task, you put, whatever it is that you want to put in there.

You can either hit the enter button or click the plus icon.

There.

We will add it to this space with the to Deuce.

Now, each of you.

You can delete it, you can edit it and you can mark it as complete.

And when you mark it as complete, it goes to do.

And so if you click done, it will show you all the things that you completed.

And once everything is all said, and done, I am saying, done a lot.

You can click the Twitter icon and now open up Twitter in a new browser and it will list actually everything that you got completed.

Now.

I felt that's kind of like a good way of like ending it and be like, I am good.

I am ready for the week.

I feel good about what I got done kind of thing, you know, and so feel good going to the week.

All right, then.

Another countdown timer that one's coming down to when the next break session is and breaks happen 15 minutes after the hour.

All right, so there's about 40 about 45 minutes of focused work time and about 15 minutes of Break Time.

Cool.

Then we have tutorials view tutorials.

So I have links to free code camp and the Odin project and for my understand, I think they can give you a good like overview.

And so they so you can feel good about what it would take to be, what it takes to do, web development, I guess.

And then you can make your own informed decision by going through those whether or not you want to spend more time and or money learning more about web development.

Yeah, I am partial to the building because what do you know?

So I am a JavaScript developer Advocate advantage.

And with that, I kind of like help out with tutorials.

So I have tutorials there as well from Vonage.

So, full disclosure.

I think they're cool though.

Like one of them is that you create an application where you could put in your phone number into the application, hit call, and it will ring your phone.

That's a, that's a number in the real world and you be able to have a conversation back and forth.

And then we have the opposite, where it's you make a phone call to a virtual number.

That will ring that's attached to your application that you create.

It will ring your browser.

And then you will be able to answer you build answer and have a conversation.

And then there's another one where its application, where two users, click login, and one can call the other and then you can have a conversation back and forth.

Some amazing stuff is amazing what you can do on the internet.

So.

Alright, next below that is the hakko, but we will talk about how it goes because I have a presentation for that.

Then we have show-and-tell sign up.

So if there's anything that you wanted to talk about that.

I found interesting and fascinating, you can come up and do like a quick lightning talk, five.

Ten minutes, talk about what it is that you like and yeah, there's that below that.

Now remember that video that highlight video that you created previously and sent off to be created.

Well, right there you will be able to see the status.

So initially you say submitted for the status and then when it's ready to be viewed, it was a status done.

And the view button will appear, you can click View.

You will be able to preview the video.

You have to download the video.

You also be able to send a tweet with a link to the recording of the video.

And what's cool is the URL is unique to you.

So if Twitter shows the preview, embed video, it will be your video now.

I guess it's sometimes chosen it sometimes and doesn't, I don't know.

So I have just been downloading them.

The video and attaching them to the Tweet to make sure that it does get seen.

Alright.

And now, I mentioned tacos, Jaco stands for help a coder / Creator out, right?

And with the hakko.

You pretty much can kind of create your own room.

So let us say you're working on a project and you get stuck or maybe want to get feedback.

Me you got something done.

So you'd be able to create a hot cocoa.

Now, you can view what ha Kosar and it was kind of show you here.

What's cool is I say, please make sure to check out the Creator.

For joining the room, especially if you don't know them.

So you will be able to click the user name, the Creator's name and see view their either, their GitHub or Twitter profile depending on what they logged in with.

And then you can make sure is the type of thing you want to get into you know, I mean, so you have that power.

Now if you're creating a Jaco you can you enter a title and then you enter in three keywords that you think could help somebody looking at it, kind of understand what it is that you're looking for.

You know what technologies?

Maybe, or what have you?

And then click create once you click create, it will say how co-created, and we will have a link, you can be able to copy the URL, or you can.

If you're using Twitter, use click to share on Twitter there, and I will do that for you and then you will be able to join your hot cocoa.

Now.

The thing is, My Hope Is by you share the link and having people come in.

As a group.

You will be able to come together and give get you.

The feedback or the help that you need, you mean?

So some of the ways going to be doing that is that there's a chat box here.

You will be able to share your screen this countdown time.

Oh, by the way, you be able to leave, you can leave an upper half and corner.

Here.

You can open the menu to see whose in there.

But also you as the owner, or here's the URL, again, and then click the share Twitter.

Again, if you need to you, as the owner is somebody tries to join the room.

They just don't join automatically.

They West to join the room.

And so they will pop up here and so that you will be able to view their by clicking the name.

You be able to view their Twitter or GitHub profile again, depending on what they logged in with and see if the type of person that you maybe want to let in like, the make sure they're not like a bot or something, or some troll or something right.

Now.

Let us say you do, approve them and let them in.

If they start acting up you can always ban them and get rid of them.

All right?

Cool.

Now, like I said, you can share your screen so you click Start screen, share and you will be able to share it and say what you call it or stop screen.

Share.

And so, that way, you can show the folks in the room, what it is that you're having an issue with or maybe want to get feedback on cool and then here's the chat.

So as you type in the text box and hit send will add it to their.

But I also wanted to be where if you didn't want to Type stuff out.

You can enable audio chat and that will open up like that.

Will use your microphone so you can speak into it and it will use Text-to-Speech because other people won't hear you unless they enable audio chat for themselves and then you will be able to talk with each other.

Now, similar to the tutorial speaking about before.

So enabling auto chat will allow for the web speech recognition API, to take your speech and turn into And then we will add that to the text chat.

So for people who don't have the audio chat on, can still keep up with what's happening, right?

And the people, and everyone, who has enabled audio chat will be able to hear and speak with each other cool.

Then you can kind of like the opposite where let us say you have you're looking at another page or whatever.

He's so you can't really keep up with what's happening in the text chat so you can enable text to speech and as messages or Being added to the text chat, it will read it out to you.

So while you work on stuff, you could be doing, you know, still keeping up with what's happening.

And yeah, so that's that.

Is there more to it?

I don't remember actually.

Oh, yeah, and then you will be able to view other hot goes and things and that's it.

Alright, cool.

So that's pretty much it.

I am gonna get you all back to work.

Thanks for hanging out.

So hopefully that was helpful and that you can actually use it the hakko, if you so choose, stop screen sharing.

All right, so I am gonna get you all back to work.

I am really kind of happy with how this project so far as turning out, which is a good thing that I need it relatively soon.

And so yeah, so I am glad it's working out and then I will be able to use web components to kind of like speed up everything else because a lot of is pretty much already done as web components.

I saw included which is the great thing about web components are very built it, you know, me and so now just about plugging it in most of them.

I have got a few things, I need to create, but should be fine.

Should be fine.

All right, so cool.

Again.

Thank you all for hanging out going on.

And Joel off with some traveling music.

And this is Anthony Cruz.

AKA a butter.

The track is called.

Thank you.

Because I want to thank you all for hanging out.

So I wish you much productivity, and we will be back 15 minutes after the hour.

Unless somebody wants to do a show and tell we will talk about this thing.

I came across on Twitter seems like a pretty cool technology.

It's kind of in the vein of where I have been kind of going, as far as like making stuff.

So we will talk about that.

All right.

We spoke about the company previously.

But they have something new out now, so pretty cool.

Alright, so 15 minutes after our thanks again, Anthony Cruz AKA butter.

Thank you.

Alright.

See ya.
