You have heard of the influential hip-hop Trio that makes up slum Village even though now it's just tool.

I was also if you're familiar elves II was, I was also part of the group and like an in-car, Andre Carnation reading, whatever.

All right, the group was founded in the early 90s by three childhood friends button T3, rapper and producer, J dilla.

Gardens neighborhood of Detroit Michigan, after leaving Pershing, High School, the trio began to forge a path into the Detroit underground, hip hop scene and quickly found themselves.

Steadily gaining popularity where they originally went by the name of all seen pod, never knew that before.

And I believe that's when they got like the tape just try to take back then and your Q-tip like really championed slum Village and J dilla and really like put them on and stuff, so slum Village landed.

Their first record deal in 1998 with Barack / A&M records due to label Politics.

The group was forced to release their album.
