Welcome back your dreams were your ticket.

I welcome back that same old place but those dreams have remained, and they turned around.

Welcome back, give us stretch.

Oh yes, rest, rest.

Oh yeah, so I finished up the post radio show promo stuff.

So that's cool.

Then I kind of like went down a rabbit hole of like way.

Land to buy and purchase, and so I just damn Twitter ads but yeah, so but I did was able to kind of like look at my side project a little bit and get familiarize back again because it's been like a week or something, probably a little more than a week since I have actually had a chance to actually code anything on it, but Getting back into it.

So yeah, cool figure for this break.

Take a look at an artist website and this is some music watching videos and you will become a fan of them.

And yeah then you will be able to.

Okay, second there's trackpad.

I have got to get another one, I don't know.

Alright, cool.

So the group talking about is let me share my screen here.

All right, sure, some audio could listen to some here.

Come on.

What is up with this or things?

Like it's freezing up a little bit.

It's weird.

All right, so this is official slum village.com.

So of course, the group goes by the name of Slum Village.

Always like that logo has always been a big fan of that logo.

All right.

So this is slum Village.

How many people are familiar, but they have been around for a minute, and they have gone through different reincarnations, right?

As they have kind of grown through and folks may now slum Village through, in my opinion wanted like most prolific producers of all the time, J dilla and so J dilla was a member of Slum Village.

Like the founding member of Slum Village basically.

And so right now it consists of T3 and young RJ.

OK T3 is it another founding member of Slum Village?

It started off with T3, J, dilla and button.

All right, P button and J dilla.

And so we got T3 and young RJ was a producer.

And MC.

We play on the report reason why I brought this up is because they have a new track out, and we played on the radio show yesterday and I saw they had a website, I am like, oh cool, let us check it out, see what we got going on there.

So, first thing though, is that they don't have like HTTP.

There's no security on the joint, so probably want to look into that.

Because initially, when I went there, the Brows like it, you sure you want to do this because it could be unsafe so it might be hurting traffic.

What?

So definitely want to try get the HTTP, especially nowadays, most places, give it to you for like free anyway like it because it's important you know, I am saying so the SSL certificate thing that's just a kind of like the box and most places now.

So it's important to have with this is the group here.

Cool.

I like The Parallax joint.

All right, nice.

So that means I should be able to select this right, or no.

That's an image.

So the image on top of an image, okay, cool.

Alright, keeps growing I got some tour dates, they got a show coming up, what month?

Are we in?

Hey, and coming up in June.

All right, California very nice.

All right then we got social media.

All right.

Cool.

So that's it for the front page.

Check out the slum Village section.

All right, so chances are if you are anywhere near the Detroit music scene.

You have heard of the influential hip-hop Trio that makes up slum Village even though now it's just tool.

Alright, Ells.

I was also if you're familiar elves II was, I was also part of the group and like an in-car, Andre Carnation reading, whatever.

All right, the group was founded in the early 90s by three childhood friends button T3, rapper and producer, J dilla.

Okay, who all grew up together in the continent?

Gardens neighborhood of Detroit Michigan, after leaving Pershing, High School, the trio began to forge a path into the Detroit underground, hip hop scene and quickly found themselves.

Steadily gaining popularity where they originally went by the name of all seen pod, never knew that before.

Okay, wonder if that's like do o is, do penis spelled backwards?

I like I was one of that's something.

Alright.

Know why did I know that don't misspell back?

Okay.

In 1991 changed, their name to slum Village.

Recording their first album volume 1, recorded in dilla's basement and RJ.

Rice Studios over the same young RJ.

Maybe I don't know.

It was critically acclaimed in the Detroit underground scene.

It later found its way into the hands of A Tribe Called Quest own Q-tip.

Who played it for some of hip-hop's Elite such as Busta Rhymes Questlove and D'Angelo so yeah, that's kind of like how they got.

So I think A Tribe Called Quest was like in town or something.

For like a show.

And I believe that's when they got like the tape just try to take back then and your Q-tip like really championed slum Village and J dilla and really like put them on and stuff, so slum Village landed.

Their first record deal in 1998 with Barack / A&M records due to label Politics.

The group was forced to release their album.

Best kept secret under the Alias JJ.

88.

Okay.

Okay, I remember that, okay?

I didn't know it was because of some stuff.

Oh okay, huh.

Cool.

So now they're now Classic record.

Fantastic Volume 2 which has a lot of dope joints on there.

Yes was also in production but was not officially released until 2000 through Barack records.

Dubbed and immediate classic from fans and Industry.

Tastemakers the album featured the A-list lineup including Busta Rhymes, common D'Angelo Jazzy, Jeff Pete, Rock, corrupt and Q-Tip.

Who passed the towards a slum Village on the record.

Hold tight.

All right, so the 2001 J dilla left the group to pursue his own solo career, but still hung around helping young RJ with production, cool by 10 and T3, started work on their next album.

Trinity through Barack / Capitol Records.

Featuring Ells.

I, that's where else I came on the album would feature the first commercial single tainted, which featured an unknown dwelle.

Also, disco and remix production, Crews by Timbaland.

Oh, did I know that was a temporary mixing together.

Look that.

All right, then we got Dirty District came out in 2002.

Let us see.

Then 2004 would Detroit Deli.

Taste of Detroit.

Okay.

Oh yeah, that one had the joint selfish.

Those produced by Kanye West and featuring John Legend.

All right, cool.

Oh yeah.

Then those the mixtape with young RJ and black milk, who together, I think the called the Young Gunners somebody that I think or something like that.

The two of them together as a production group in 2009 slum Village start production on their next album.

Will the manifesto remember that?

The Tells I moved on to doing solo joints as eyes, dope as well.

Oh, then.

Yeah, those are time.

Let me see.

They talk about dirty slums, volume one and two had been a big pool.

They lost soul.

Focus skyzoo.

Fonte.

They have always had like, like a lot of dope like artists on their albums.

Yeah, I am saying, this is like a lot of respect there.

Having over 100,000 downloads 2013, 2014 b-sides were released Yes, I think.

Yes.

Was the last one 2015 2016 produced by JD and young RJ.

And oh no, those are 2018.

Lost Scrolls.

Vol 2.

Is that okay?

I am from, okay.

All right, dope.

So yes right now is T3 and young RJ.

Yeah, we the black royalty album play that from Young RJ.

All right, don't Okay cool.

So guys nice like background in history of the group.

Very nice.

All right, so I got discography because they got a bunch of projects.

Like you just saw So this is the last time I knew about the, yes.

All right.

So, here it is with the original members there.

Again, this one, 2.10 try to remember, but here's the project about they release under the new name.

All right, and you can check out I guess YouTube and Spotify and with its Apple music, alright.

The necks of those like a band camp or something.

Like a player's.

I can that's like listen to the tracks right on the page.

All right video, let us check out some videos.

All right, so let us check out the one they have here.

Well, yeah, and so yeah, Ellijay.
