Welcome back, your dreams, were your ticket, I welcome back.

Same old place, the cheek well then since you hung around but those dreams everything, and they turned around each other.

Any welcome back.

All right.

Until it that works break session.

Hopefully, your last work session was productive.

I am getting there like I had to reinstall Twitter because the app would just keep crashing.

Even like when I open it or try to create a tweet, I am trying to promote the radio show stuff, so that was just taking forever.

So yeah, so I am working on the promotion posts radio show promo stuff.

And yeah, so I reinstalled Twitter logged in back into my accounts, they're all the two.

There's stuff.

So I think it's a seems to be working fine now.

I guess.

So making a little bit of progress but that was kind of like a blockers pretty terrible.

But was not a terrible.

Is that figured for this break kind of quickly go over project.

My new side project that I am working on and this one I am actually looking to maybe make some money with right?

And, so I have kind of always wanted to do it.

All the pieces were kind of there.

There but I just never really I will maybe I felt like it was too large of a project or something but for right now I am feeling pretty good about it because again I think everything is there and I got people who want to like help me with it and stuff, so I think it should be cool, so I am going to give it a shot see what happens.

So and plus I own this pretty cool domain name, and I was like might as well use it.

So let me share my screen.

Yes, here we go.

All right, and okay.

So this is the sign I am working on.

I am actually using stack Blitz to kind of like code it out the proof of concept because I don't want to do all that on my local machine.

You're mean and like all these stuff, and I am still working things out and kind of Trying to put it together.

I like to be able to just do it on the computer and since it's in the browser I can work on it anywhere.

So I don't really need to have just my laptop that I codon, so I can like oh let me try this thing.

I can just pull up a browser, try it out, see if it works.

If it does work, doesn't work, you know?

I mean so for me it's just more convenient as I am kind of like working through the project to be able to just have a thing.

Where I can just try stuff really quickly because all the projects on my laptop, I want to make sure they're like as close to like the final version as possible.

You know?

I mean otherwise I would have this a whole bunch of different just like random projects is taking up space on my computer.

You know, I mean, so at least with this, I can have a bunch of stuff, all right.

So the URL is a live hip-hop dot events, right?

And from that you I would hopefully you think that's a place where you can catch live, hip-hop events?

And so, That is what the one planning to do previously.

I threw a lot of different events and shows and things like hip-hop events and I kind of want to get into that again.

And, so I have a friend who still, could you still throw events?

And, so I want to be able to live stream those events for people who can't make it out to the show's, right?

And so that's what this is for.

And plus, you know, the whole thing was like Cove it and all these things that people are still kind of All right, shy about going into large groups of people, you know, in the end, so it's understandable.

So I figured would be cool is to give them an option to be able to still participate.

And I kind of do that with the other cytotec that events where it's a site where I stream, different local.

Tech meetups in Orlando, right?

And so like you can check out to see all the upcoming ones and things that are happening and Yeah, cool.

All right, but yeah.

So back to the actual site So I am building it with Astro and Dino.

So this is just the front end of the site, right?

So, this is where you get the information and you can like, purchase stuff.

All right, so I figured I wanted to load as quick as possible, and since it doesn't really need a lot in the back end because it's just serving up some information and then having links to go purchase stuff, right?

I was like I want to do something super like fast and optimal, so I am going with Astro.

And probably hosted on Dino.

I like the way Dina was doing stuff, so thinking about doing that.

So this is just what I did was Astro has a dino template and I just use that in stack Blitz.

And so that's what it.

So I just kind of like use that as a starting point.

I was just kind of messing around with stuff.

So yeah, so this is so from there.

So this is kind of like the whole site, right?

And so yeah, by the contact and the login, now the login is going to be its own separate application.

And that's for the people who like purchase something, we have to go and watch the videos and do all the other stuff.

So that's a whole separate thing, right?

But this is just to show information about the upcoming shows in past shows, so, Why wanted was to have like a card section here.

So it is show all the upcoming events and so will happen is.

So this is, what is one event coming up?

Is one big card but then as events as we add events, it gets smaller and it shows up.

So this gets like moved over and smaller and other cards.

Show up what was cool was that the Astro Dino sample had like these cards there.

Now the goes pretty much kind like what I wanted.

So I am using that to build on and this is like their styling.

But what will happen is that in the back and I create you be able to choose the gradient, you be able to select like the beginning middle and I can color and it will apply the gradient.

So depending on whatever the images of the artist then you will be able to so that it kind of matches, right?

And so it's going to list the artist name and then the when it's happening.

And this is actually a web component I created, and it's even on the until--, it dots works, it's the one that shows me see until-- If you normally when we're about, when the we're not broadcasting, they will be a timer here looks just like that.

But if you go here under videos, It's getting all the data so it's the same web component that all these have that I am using right here.

So I don't have to recreate it, which is pretty cool.

I did update it so that I am able to style a little bit more and so that was pretty cool.

So, yeah.

All right, so then you will be able to click it, but I will show you how to do that.

Then below here will be the things that happen like weekly or what-have-you, right?

Or monthly like things that are like, Recurring, I am going to happen if you show up here so for example, like my radio show and the logos will change but I only have like my radio show logo.

So that's why but it's for like plate image placement and so it will talk about the radio show.

I got to fix this so that it looks a bit better, but it will show like the latest radio show and then you can listen to it Florida.

You can click to find out more.

All right.

And so yeah.

So that's cool.

You click that to exit.

And then I want to actually have like another podcast kind of around the events.

And so that would be here and it will be like a video player.

And it will be like a playlist that you can have here and you can go through them.

All right, that's that one and then when you actually click.

So yeah.

So again and then my friend.

He throws like events and stuff like weekly one.

So you'd be able to put them here and stuff like that.

It'd be cool.

Now.

Oh, and another thing.

So this count, this timer here, this date thing, it will show it in your local time zone.

So since I am in the in America, the New York Times own, it shows it when the event is happening in my time zone.

So you don't have to worry about, oh wait.

When is it?

What is it?

So yeah, so that's going to be cool.

Let us see.

So when I click it, And it takes me here.

And then so it will be the same matching gradient in the background here, and we will have the artist's name kind of, like faded in the background as a part of the background.

So and then again, same countdown timer here or the date of event time.

Let us see.

Oh then we have like a well I want to have is like a promo video of the artist and hey check me out of this time Bubba.

Whatever like a little promo video.

They be able to buy merch and the tickets.

And so if you're coming in person, right?

You will have to come by.

You're the big, how we work this out?

I saw the talk with my friend, but probably have a link to the venue site or whoever to purchase the ticket.

We got see how we can work it out with the venue or whatever and then you also be able to purchase other merchandise with it.

So if you're coming through, you be able to like purchase a mixtape and it's going to be like an autograph.

From the artist, everyone performing mixtape that I want to create right to help promote the events, and then they're also been like a t-shirt and then you can get a package deal with a mix tape and a shirt.

And they will have links to I am thinking about using stripe, because Drive makes it pretty easy as like a checkout page and then you just put information and you're good to go.

So, for the first like edition of this, like the version of it, I want to make it as like easy as possible, right?

Because there's a whole lot of other things behind the scenes.

I need to work.

So I want to make the front page and the purchasing as straightforward as possible and you click the link and open up, and he be able to purchase it through stripe.

So I am thinking and then if you want to purchase online, then you will be able to get the length of stride.

Again, you will be able to, I got figure this out and maybe depending on how it goes.

But once right now, what I am thinking is that after the event, That it will.

After the event.

Well, like if you purchase a mixtape or a shirt or a package will ship it to you afterwards, I think, or maybe if we could figure out, let us say I don't want to cut off a time like before in order for you to get it by a certain time or maybe, maybe that's what I will do.

I will say, like, hey if you want to get it by the time of the event that you need to order by a certain time, otherwise will be shipped afterwards.

Maybe, maybe that's what I will do.

I am not sure.

I am again, I will talk to my friend about it, but I kind of wanted to build something that could show them like hey this is what I am thinking.

What do you think about it?

Because it's been a minute since I have actually thrown like an event.

And so again, so mix able to find out more information on a mixtape.

You can listen to it, download it, it's kind like a promotional thing, right?

But if you want, like a physical copy of the mixtape with everybody's like, autographed it then you can get that as well.

Then they'd be like a limited edition t-shirt for the event.

I still have to do the type for, it will show the T-shirt but there's no T-shirt design yet.

So, And then videos from everybody, that's kind of like performing at the event.

So you kind of see and check them out.

If you're not familiar with them.

Like okay.

This is like a fun show to check out.

Yeah.

That's pretty much it, I think.

So that's what I have so far and I think it's pretty cool.

I wanted something just super simple and I don't want people to be like, oh wait, what's going, what's all the stuff I need to do, you know, it's just like, bam.

Here's the event.

Click it, find out more information and yeah, and then you'd be able to login to the fam stuff, which is not a thing yet.

And yeah, that's pretty much it.

So That's what I got so far looking I am hoping to maybe I got.

I know he said he has an event coming up and so maybe we could try it with that or what have you?

So again I have like all the stuff for like even like I said because I do like the streaming for the meetups, and so I have like the gear to do it, right?

And, so I want to do it and you know maybe make some money.

And so, we will see.

It's been pretty cool to build it out.

Take it from like a sketch to, like, a little bit more, like a wire frame, and then kind of building it out.

So it's been good practice and I dig it and using Astro is pretty awesome.

Like, I am not using any other like could normally, I would use likes felt and that's my plan for the other stuff.

I am probably going to build this felt application, but let me, so let me stop screen.

Share.

So yeah.

So my plan is I kind of already have it built out a little bit before Kyle's kind of working on it before.

But yeah, it's just a spell tap.

Basically, with a Firebase back end and everything there.

So you can create the events, you can do all this other stuff and so, yeah, I think it should be cool.

And so that's where I am at now.

I will probably hit my friend up by.

Hey, check this out.

Let me know what you think, and we see what we can go, no further.

And then I will start actually working on it on my local machine.

And, so I am not, you know, like Wasting space or anything like that.

So, yeah.

So we will see, we will see what happens.

I am gonna get you all back to work because I need to get back to work and get some stuff done for the radio show.

I really need to get that completed and yeah, if no one signs up for the show-and-tell, going to take a look at an artist's website and this is a music and watch some videos, you know, have a good time.

Alright, so again, thanks for hanging out.

I am going to send you all off with some traveling music.

This is Anthony Cruz, AKA butter.

The track is called, thank you.

Thanks again for hanging out.

I will see you all around be easy.

I wish you much productivity and thanks for hanging out.
