Welcome back your dreams were your ticket.

I welcome back that same old place that you but those dreams every baby, and they turned around each other.

What's going on?

Welcome back.

All right, give a stretch.

Stretch.

All right, oh yeah.

Oh yeah, hopefully that last work session was productive for you, for me.

It was a pretty good.

I actually finished up all the posts radio show promo stuff, at least I thought so and I want to go through it.

So when I say the post radio show promo stuff, I do things like send setup the email, I am saying, like with the playlist and stuff that we played it for The email setup I type in all the different playlists, the tracks we played, and I schedule it to go out for tomorrow morning on Monday morning, right?

And I also do me.

Share my screen here.

I also posted different social media, all right.

And so let me share my screen, Punisher audios, do that, and so All right, here we go.

So for example.

So this is our Twitter page, right?

Let me put a link to this because again I would like to put links to everything I show on the site.

All right, cool thing.

My internet is jacking up on me, so that's great.

That's always positive.

This is what happens when you live in the middle of nowhere.

All right, well, we're going to keep it going.

Come assuming hopefully it's a doing something.

It looks like it Is it totally gone?

Okay, think I am back.

It's fine.

Whatever would be fine.

So yeah, so this is our Twitter page.

Our show on Twitter and what I do is, so I will post Like so here's like the latest show, right?

And then I also post like little Snippets.

Of the tracks, we play.

All right.

So for example, take a listen this real quick, But yeah, you can check out more, and so I post those things as well.

Now these videos they come up from during while we're live.

So, on Twitter, I will post Like I said, all this stuff up beforehand.

Right.

And that way it's a little bit easier for me post.

So like for example like this one here while we're playing tracks on the radio show, I tweet them out and so that way people, if they're listening on like the radio or what have you they will be able to maybe follow along on Twitter and see what we're playing and who were playing and then give them a follower if they like the track, right?

Similar, I do the same thing on Instagram.

My.

So here again is like the show we just did.

And it has like the same Snippets and stuff.

And the Snippets come from, listen this.

All right.

So yeah so these clips I combined them right?

Because during the show I actually.

Well again while we're playing the tracks, I will record like a little short video like 20 seconds and I will post an Instagram.

All right I used to post to Twitter but I kept getting flagged for whatever reason.

So yeah, so here, so I do that.

Right cool.

I also do the stories or whatever like things that only lasts for like.

A day for some reason.

I do that as well.

All right, so that's what I do.

Post radio show promo stuff right now.

I was on Twitter, and so we talked about on the radio show as well is we see the title of the show is called threads like threats and threads put together because if you're ever on Twitter, you may have noticed that threads is trending.

It's been trending for a while and it has five point seven, nine million tweets as of me doing this video right now.

Put that perspective Trump Has seven hundred thirty-eight thousand.

Jesus has 251,000 and Beyonce has seven thousand, five hundred seventy-seven tweets.

So, apparently threads is more popular than Trump, Jesus, and Beyonce combined, apparently at least on Twitter for right now.

So threads is a thing that if you haven't heard that, Instagram came out with because Twitter has been To put it politely not on its gain.

Recently, you know me.

And you can say for whatever reason I am not going to.

I am not here to point out anything like that but Its simple fact that because of that a bunch of different places have been popping up so well now you pop up like mastodons, been a thing for a while, right?

And so are the radio show has its own Mastodon server, which I am not really doing anything with.

But we have, we have one, I just got a, an invitation to Blue Sky.

So I am on that.

I am really done anything with that yet and so now then Instagram is popped up with this thing, right?

I am sure there's probably been more than well.

But for right now, the these the ones that I am aware of, or have touched or anything, so Instagram announced threads and it's a new way to share with text out.

So if you scroll right again, July 5th.

So, pretty recent, if you look at the screenshots right, it looks so much like Twitter.

I mean, I am not a designer it, so, maybe there're things.

You could probably, like, pick out like, oh, no, that's different.

It looks a lot like Twitter to me.

I Maybe little bit different, but whatever.

But all right, again, I mean how much, how much more different Could you actually?

And so many, like, scrolling vertically?

Horizontally, I don't know.

Neither here, nor there.

So some of the taken.

So I have this here who, by the way, let me put a link to the Instagram.

I forgot to do that.

You want to check out what we do on the radio show and then use the blog post and the add this as well.

All right, so a couple of takeaways threads is a new app built by into the Instagram team for sharing text updates and joining public conversations.

Cool.

You log in using your Instagram account and post can be up to 500 characters long and include links photos and videos up to 5 minutes in length.

We're working on threads soon, be incompatible with the open interoperable, social that we believe can shape the future of the internet.

And that is Stood in me, right?

So we will talk about that.

I think about mugs milk, Mark Zuckerberg and talking about it and bunch of stuff.

Join the conversation on Instagram.

So, in saying, that it's easy to get started.

And this is a thing where I believe Instagram has like an edge over the other more recent Alternatives that people kind of, like, Flock to.

Because on those other platforms, when you get an account, you're basically starting at 0, which School floor, like, everybody's back on a Level Playing Field, you know, me, and he kind of like refreshing restart, right?

But a lot of people, for whatever reason, social media put a lot of time into their social media.

And so they, they put time into like building up on other people's land.

Basically, you know I am saying?

So building up the following on a whole nother thing, they don't control.

So for a lot of people to move to something new, it's like oh I have to start all that over again.

All right, well with threads, you don't.

So if you built up your whole thing on Instagram, I haven't done this yet but I guess you can still, I guess kind of carry it over, but I am not sure like your Instagram username and verification will carry over like it says and then you can customize it for a specifically for thread your profile Birds whatever.

But then Do so follow the same accounts, you do want Instagram and find more people who care about the same things you do.

But if thing is, so what?

Again, I will probably sign up and I will talk about why, but I don't understand is Are you starting from scratch?

Again, like with zero followers on threads because from, this is just saying, you can follow the same people you're following on Instagram.

But do your followers?

Get carried over.

No, because when somebody does want to follow you on threads, they can't, you can't force somebody, right?

So I don't know.

I don't know.

Let us see.

They talked about some of the accessibility stuff.

Cool, 500 there, whatever, I don't care, tune out the noise.

So we built threads with tools to enable positive productive conversations because Facebook is known for those things, right?

And Instagram, you can control can mention you or reply within your threads which you can do everywhere else.

Like on Instagram, you can add hidden words to filter out replies to your threads.

Yeah, because the on the A show, the Box replies are heavy.

So I have to like put in these filter words, so they don't post anything add whatever.

Let us see.

Great.

Compatible with interruptible networks, right?

So soon.

Who knows what soon is we are planning to, so they even do is there soon they're planning to so their plant.

So they haven't, I don't know to make threats and paddle both activity Pub, which I believe, I think blue skies supposed to be on that and mastodons.

So the open social networking protocol established by the World Wide Web, Consortium w3c.

The body responsible for the Open Standards that power.

The modern with this would make threads interoperable with other apps, that support that activity Pub protocol such as Macedon and WordPress allowing new type of communication that are simply not possible on most social apps today.

Other platforms including Tumblr have shared plans to support that activity per protocol in the future.

So, for me, that's pretty cool because being able to have I guess like I like One login.

So what I would like to About Mastodon, is that like for?

Like I said, the radio show has its own server, right?

And from there that's kind of like your gateway into other places, you know I am saying.

So you can have like a hub your own home, then from there just you know, find other things that you like and incorporate that, you know, I mean, but you always have that one place as your home, whereas, like with like the way it is, now if you're on Twitter all yourselves on Twitter, Facebook also its Facebook.

And I guess, I don't have Facebook, like, it's Instagram and Facebook.

I don't know if you can interrupt but with threads, I guess, then that could be your starting point into other places.

I don't know.

We will see.

They're planning on it to think about I guess soon.

And then, yes.

So threads.

Our plan is to work with activity Pub, provide you the option to stop using threads and transfer your content to another service.

Our vision is that people using compatible apps will be able to follow and interact with people on threads without having a threads account, and vice versa, so, ushering in a new era of diverse and interconnected networks.

So, yes, a kind of being able to have all these different nodes.

You can kind of control, you can hop in wherever you want.

I am saying, let us see.

Yes, it's about all that and then there.

What's next there?

Right now, it's in more than 100 countries for iOS Android and people are in those countries can download thing to whatever.

So, so speaking of that, so here's their website threads dotnet, right?

And speaking of April link to that.

Like they said you can get it from the store so you can like scan this code and pick it up in store if you so choose right now, I saw a couple of people talking about the permissions that you have to kind of like give the app right and So, I haven't heard it, I thought I pulled it up, you know, I guess I didn't know not.

So here's the page on the Google Play Store, right and so if you look at the data details so the data shared personal info and device or other IDs and data collected.

This is where I saw a bunch of people posting screenshots, like a location personal info, Financial info, health, and fitness messages, photos and videos, audio files, and docks calendar contacts app.

Bibbity web, browsing app, info, and comments, and device or their IDs.

So basically your phone is their phone basically and all of a sudden, but the thing is, I saw people upset about it.

But if you have Instagram installed, right?

It's literally the same stuff that's being collected, so you already gave up all your data and so that's probably why I am just going to go and join threads just, so I can do more like posting the radio show stuff the track.

So we play And hopefully get more people familiar with artists that may not get a bunch of plate.

That's all point I am saying.

And so as it in the day regardless Twitter Instagram Blue Sky Macedon, whatever.

And well Macedon you know so much can you kind of like own mat, right?

Because you pay for like a server, right?

But all these folks they come.

I am like different kaijus, right?

And if you're not familiar, they're like in Japan, they're like large monsters rights, like Godzilla for Examples a Kaiju, right?

And I kind of want to illustrate how I feel about all these different massive social apps like fighting each other.

What have you, right?

I feel like they're just all different kaijus battling each other?

Whereas, we, the people, you know, I am saying our data, the buildings are all being trampled on, all right.

And, so I figured, why not play a little bit of a this Godzilla vs.

King Kong vs.

Mechagodzilla fight scene to the kind of illustrate.

What I am Saying.

Alright, so here we go.

That's so that's all our data right there.

Being trampled upon This Is Us trying to run in a hide or try to you know find a place to stay.

So yeah, so that's, I believe what's happening now.

So I am going to get you all back to work and I will probably sign up to threads and Post the same stuff I post on the Instagram and posted onto the threads and see.

Maybe, you know, maybe it's like a whole new opportunity especially early on maybe they want like people to be engaged.

So if I am posting videos, maybe they will actually like post it out there.

Maybe, you know, people find new artists, and they like, all right.

Yeah but that's it for that.

Have you joined threads if so?

Let me know.

And the cool thing is you keep the same username which is good.

I mean, so I think that's cool as well.

Neither here nor there I am going to send you all back to work.

I am going there's this track, I am sent you off with traveling music.

It's a track by Anthony Cruz AKA butter.

You see start screen share it's called thank you because again thanks for hanging out.

When we come back we will take a look at an artist website.

Maybe listen to music, watch some videos, we will see.

But again till then I wish you much productivity and this is Anthony Cruz.

AKA butter.

Thank you.

All right.

Y'all be easy and peace.
