Same old place that you like about changed since you hung around, but those dreams have remained, and they turn around.

They need you.

Welcome back.

Welcome back.

Welcome back.

Always hey, what's going on?

All right.

Thanks for all coming through.

Welcome back.

Whoo.

This is the second cipher of the day for me.

And yeah, I just was out like in the garage.

Oh, well, I wasn't actually cutting.

I was measuring and having Aluminum pieces, cut shots of my pops for, you know, the saw and everything.

So got that done and this week.

I am going to be finishing up my van, like, at least the part that I am going to be working on.

So, looking forward to that.

Bring in the new year with like, a good chunk of my van done.

So, that's why if I look sweaty.

And yeah, that's why.

All right.

So let us go Through orientation for the new folks that may be here.

Just joining us.

Thank you for coming through and yeah, so right now, so I mentioned this Cipher so there are two ciphers today.

They have been today and you can figure, you can see when they happen.

If you above, you see, there's a subscribe if you click that.

Now, I will show you a list of all the upcoming ciphers.

Now ciphers are three hours study blocks, right?

You can subscribe to them and get notified when we go live, and they show the time in your time zones.

We have to do any like timezone math and stuff.

Cool, and so each Cipher each three, our study block is made up of two sessions, two types of sessions.

There is the work session and then there's the break session, which is you were, if you draw a little bit earlier, you're probably in the work session.

This here, what's happening now is a break session.

They happen, 15 minutes after the hour.

And last about 15, 20 minutes, and they're just kind of stuff that we talk about whatever.

So you can actually come on and talk about where we found interesting.

Otherwise, I am going to talk about what I found, interesting, and take a look at an artist's website and listen to some music.

Alright, so right now, you see the video below.

The video is the like a kind of warning, kind of way.

It says that you may need to click play to start the stream because if you go to a site that has auto-playing video and audio, it will most likely not play and just look like it's frozen.

So I am working on something where it will be that the video will be muted, but the video will be playing and then you just click a button to unmute it.

And so I am working on that.

I am actually working on a couple of projects that looking to do that for so that should be cool.

I think I found some code that can not go get around it but to wear, if you are watching, like they will be the audio and so you wouldn't have to unmute it.

And so I am gonna look into that more.

So all right, and then next to that the little warning is the open closed caption.

So right now, I have speech recognition going.

And, so I am using the web speech recognition API that's built into Chrome browser and it will, it's taking the words that I am saying turning into text, and I am transmitting that to the space that opens up when you click open closed caption.

So hopefully, it's pretty accurate.

Give me a second here.

There it is.

All right, and then below that.

You see, two buttons.

There's the add a clip and create a highlight video.

And so, the add a clip is if there's anything interesting that you found during these break sessions, your kind of able to clip it out like five seconds, you get five of those clips.

And then whenever you're done, you hit create a highlight video and will that when I hit stop broadcast, that sends the timestamp and your username to some stuff I have going on in the backend and is making some calls.

Some apis and what's happening?

I am going through shot stack and I send them the timestamps and all this stuff like a Json file, and it will take the recorded video, take out those sections, and then put them together, put the intro and the outro that I tell it to put, and that will send that to my database.

And where my database will.

Let you know that your video is ready to be viewed.

And well, I will let you know how you can check out that video.

All right, then we have a countdown timer and that's going counting down to the next work session and below that you can check out like you can join the chat room.

And if you have any questions, you can ask questions.

We have a special section for questions.

All right, so that's the break session.

Now, when we get back to work, what you should see is something that looks like.

Screen share.

Select this one.

You will see something that looks kind of like this.

Now, the background may be different because that's just randomly picked, right?

But again, on upper right-hand corner, you can see where you can subscribe.

There's also the shop and you can log out of your log down.

There's like a home section now.

On the other side, on the left side of the screen.

We have the it's a band camp player.

And so it's kind of like a jukebox that I created where some artists that I know, submitted some music so that can use them in certain projects like this.

So, I like to thank them shall see them.

And if you want to thank them and you like the music you hear, you can actually purchase it.

And you can also share it.

If you want to help promote.

You can click where it says help spread the word tweet and now open up Twitter and a brand-new tab that will pre-populate with artist information and the song, and you can like tweet it out, just show some love and spread the word.

All right, and then below and in towards the center of the page is the to do section.

So, whereas it's a task, you add the task that you want to that, you want to work on, hit the plus sign or hit the enter button.

We will add it to that was blank, there added to that section.

You will be able to edit.

So you can edit tasks by just clicking the task and you can make your changes.

You can delete the task.

You can also check them as done and when you check them as done, they go to the done section.

So when you click the word done, that will show a list of all the tasks you completed.

And then once everything is all said and done, you can click the Twitter icon that will again open up Twitter.

You're in a brand-new tab and it will pre-populate the Tweet with all your tasks that were completed.

So it's kind of nice way be like at kind of announce.

I got these things done.

I feel good about hanging out for the rest of the day, kind of thing.

You know, I mean, so I am going to use that, so I can continue watching Hawkeye later tonight.

So, all right, then we got another countdown timer that countdown to when the next break session happens.

Again, this 15 minutes after the hour, then we have some tutorials if you I have a thing that you want to work on and maybe you're interested in coding and you hear about all these things about coding.

I have got the free code camp dot-org and the Odin project on there so you can click and go check those out.

I have heard they're really good.

They weren't around when I started coding, but I heard good things about them.

And I have looked through kind of the curriculum and it seems pretty legit.

So I think you'd be able to get a good feel for web development and what it takes and decide whether or not you want to spend more time and or money on it?

Then let us say you do like coding and but you're looking for just for some fun projects to work on.

I am a JavaScript developer Advocate at Vantage and part of my job is to kind of go over and make sure tutorials guides blog posts.

Everything is cool.

So I have got three blog posts.

They're not three tutorials.

My blog posts.

I am thinking about blog posts.

I gotta write, but there're three tutorials now.

One of them is you build an application.

Where you put in a phone number, you hit dial.

I think it is and then or call.

And then what happens is the phone number?

That's in the real world.

The phone will ring and then you will be able to carry on a conversation back and forth between the browser and the phone.

Then I also have the opposite where you can dial a virtual number and then be able to answer that in the application, you build and have a conversation and then there's one where two users log into an application, one can one calls the other, and they Have a conversation through the application on the web.

It's kind of amazing.

And I use that for this site actually, so I don't know what's wrong with my eyes.

Oh, I am tired.

I want to sleep.

All right.

So those are tutorials.

Now.

Let us say you're working on a project or maybe tutorial or something.

Maybe you get stuck and or you want to get feedback on something.

That's what the hot coals are for hot, coals are help a coder / Creator out.

And with that, you can actually create a room like a private.

Room where you will get a link to the URL, to the room are URL to the room, and you can send that to people whether it be social media or sending it to a specific person, then they can click the link and then request to join your room.

And you as the owner of the room can see who's requesting and then you can click the, their names and will open up their profile.

Whether it be Twitter or GitHub, depending on whether they logged in with, they can decide whether or not you want to let them into your room now.

Now, I have a chat, like, a chat Thing by text chat.

And so you're able to text chat and then there's also speech to text.

So you can actually say your what you want your messages to be, and it will put it in there and then it's also text to speech.

So you can turn that on and all the different chat, messages would be read out loud.

And so if you like working on something on another window where we can still kind of communicate, and so I want to be able to have all sorts of ways people could choose from on how they want to be able to communicate and help.

Help out with the Jaco.

And so as the owner of the room, you can actually share your screen.

Only you can share your screen.

And so that way you're able to show what your issue is or whatever it is.

You want to get feedback.

And, so I am hoping collectively be able to come together and give you the feedback and or a solution to what you work on cool and you can also view whatever hot coals are happening.

All right, then we have show-and-tell.

I welcome anybody that wants to be able to come on and talk about where they found fascinating.

Anything new.

You learned regardless of however big or small and just kind of like a 5 to 10-minute lightning talk and just we found how you found it and what you thought about it.

Pretty much that's it.

And I just wanted it helps.

I like it because it helps me with public speaking and so it never has to be anything huge.

Give me something that you found interesting and you want to talk about it.

Maybe other people find it interesting and you Can connect over that?

That's how it's worked for me in the past and then below that.

So yeah, just show and tell.

We will get you on test out the mic and camera if you want to have a camera, but at least your mic, so we can hear you.

And yeah, that would be good.

I think.

Then below that, remember that video that you were adding the clips to and then you create the highlight video.

So when it's being processed, what happens if the status is going to say submitted?

And then when it's done processing, you can check it out.

It will say status done, just like it is there and I will show a button to view it.

You can click the view button, you will be able to preview the video.

You can download the video.

You can again hit tweet, open up Twitter with a link to the archive video.

And what's cool is the preview video that comes up and I can, embed cards would have you like it's your video now, sometimes Twitter may or may not show it.

So what I have been doing is downloading it because I post an Instagram anyway, and I attached them to my tweet as I send them.

So at least I know that it will be viewable and that's pretty much everything.

So we stop sharing this, I am gonna get you all back to work.

Thank you all.

Once again, for hanging it out.

I am going to be now that the radio show stuff is done and that the actual the stuff for the van.

I got that cut out.

Now, I am able to focus on this project is coding project.

I have been working on and I made some good projects like some good progress last week during the week since I was off.

And yes, coming together.

I want to be able to have it done by this week, maybe like working and maybe Show it next week and stuff.

So again, if you want to come through, you can please do this.

Make sure to sign up the show-and-tell.

Get you on here, but till then y'all have a good time and good luck with everything and let me know if you need anything.

All right, so, thanks again.

Michelle, my screen with audio, and I am going to play this song from Anthony Cruz.

AKA a butter is called.

Thank you, and I want to thank you all for hanging out.

All right.

Thanks again.

See you all.

Peter, here we go.

Thanks.
