transcript

Welcome back, your dreams, were your ticket, I welcome back, same old place, but those dreams everything, and they turn around, and they need you.

Hey, what's going on y'all?

Welcome back.

So this is the second cipher of the day.

Stretch it, stretch it out for the first break session.

So like I mentioned this is the Lifer and welcome to until it works.

This is a thing I created because I wanted to set some time aside to be able to work on projects, and I am the type of person.

If I don't like have a set time to do things, I will fill it with other stuff.

And, so I kind of wanted to be able to dedicate time to work on stuff and as we go, pretty good.

So far, I have been making progress on things I have been wanting to work on.

And, so I figured, you know, let us make this a whole thing and Where I can kind of like I know like again I am a type of person where I was like all right, I need to be somewhere at some time to do something.

So if I am doing that while not work on other stuff kind of thing, right?

And so that's why I am doing these things live plus it helps me keep me up to date on certain topics.

I get to work on stuff and yeah so it's just like a win-win and then, you know, it helps me practice like my speaking and things.

Hopefully I am getting better.

Yeah, so until it that works consists of ciphers.

Each Cipher is three-hour block of time within each Cipher.

There are two types of work sessions.

There's a work session and a break session right now.

I am sweating, it's Florida.

So Yeah, I was kind of late, you know, outside running around doing things.

Alright, so, once again, so to type of work session, two separate sessions, there's a work session break session, work, sessions are like, 45 minutes long.

That's where his use focused on whatever is that you're focusing on, right?

It's that's the time when you're working and trying to be productive.

Then we have the break sessions where you, you know, it's take a break so you can go get up.

Walk around stretch.

Do what you gotta do or watch me?

Talk about random things or you can actually come up here and talk about random things as well.

Yes.

Okay cool.

So right now we're in a brick session and the video that you're seeing is hopefully playing and you didn't hop in during the middle of a break session because if you did the video, may look Frozen and that's due to browsers and not allowing auto-playing videos that have audio with them and so that way they kind of like freezer, that's why there's the notice.

It says, you may need to click play to start the stream next to that.

There's a button that says open closed caption and right now.

Of speech recognition enabled.

That's through the speech recognition API through Chrome browsers and right now is turning hopefully accurately my speech into text and it will show up in the box that pops open.

When you click open closed caption then we have added clip, create highlights video.

Now, if there's ever anything during these break sessions, you're like, oh, that was kind of interesting.

You can act, you can just click add a clip and wealth.

I will do is you get five Clips at five seconds?

Each, and before I hit stop broadcast on my end, if you click create a highlight video will happen to take those timestamps, it saves them.

And once we're done broadcasting, it takes the recording the timestamps cut, some out of the recording, joins them together puts on a custom intro.

There's outro.

And then you can preview it later and post to social media if you so choose.

Cool.

Alright then we have the countdown timer that's kinda on to a next work session happens and then there's the So, if you want to join, you can click the join the chat or join the room.

I think I called it.

Yeah, join the room and I will put you into the chat where you can like ask questions and talk and all that stuff.

All righty, cool.

Let us see.

So that is the break session talking about work session right now.

Work sessions will look like this.

Let me, here we go.

Cool shirt audio by don't need it.

But here is what the Work session looks like they the background may be different because I just have it randomly.

Pick nature image, we have home shop, subscribe, log out that and upper right-hand corner is the menu.

The Subscribe has a list of all the upcoming ciphers, I just added some more and so you can subscribe to get notified when we go live on the other side and towards the top left.

We have If you're, if you want to listen to music while you're working on what you're working on, I have a bent bandcamp player there where I asked certain like producers if they want to submit some music for projects I do, and they did and it being a band camp player.

If you like a track and you want to support, you can actually purchase it.

You can share it and then I added a tweet link and so if you want to tweet it out and help support some artists, you know, say that's always a good thing support.

Dope artist.

In towards the center, we have the to do section.

Where is its a task that will put in the tap, you put the task in there, hit enter or the plus sign now, add it to the center section where it will list out all the different tasks and try and get done.

You can press the text and it will allow you to edit the task, click X to delete it.

And then when you fill in the check box, it will send it to the done section.

If you want to see what your completed just click done and I will show you a list once.

Everything is finished.

And we're about to head out of here.

And why close everything down?

You can click the Twitter icon and now open up Twitter and I will list out all the things you got completed in a tweet where you to share and, you know, put a kind of like a cap on the end of your day, kind of thing.

Then we have another countdown timer, that's kind of down to one.

The next break session happens.

And again, those have been 15 minutes after the hour around 50 minutes of the hour, depending on if I am outside or if I am working on something.

But I try to be.

Here around the top.

All right, view tutorial.

So I have links to free code camp and the Odin project for folks who have heard about like web development.

But don't know really start from where I have seen both the free code Camp dot org and the Odin project, if you go through them, you will have like a good understanding of what it takes to do, web development and then I leave you be able to make an educated decision on whether or not you want to spend more time and or money pursuing web, development Jaco.

We will talk about soon.

The whole slide show about that show-and-tell sign up like I said if you want to come up here and talk about something you found interesting this fill out the form at show-and-tell, sign up and bring you on.

It's like 5 10 minutes.

Quick lightning talk.

Let us talk about whatever it is, all right?

And then we have that video that you sent to be made the highlights video.

It will say status submitted while it's being worked on and then when it's ready to be viewed as a status done, you can click the view button that shows up and then you can preview.

View it.

Then you also be able to click a link and open up on Twitter.

Now Twitter sometimes shows because your highlight video will be the preview video for the archive link.

Now, sometimes Twitter shows it sometimes it doesn't.

So what I have been doing is just downloading the video because I post it to Instagram anyway and I attached it to the tweet and so that way it's I know it's going to show up.

Let us see.

All right.

Now Jaco Taco stands for help a coder / Creator out, right.

And so if you click view Jaco it will show you all the different codes that we have been created.

You can click the created by username and it will open up either Twitter or GitHub depending on whatever they signed up with.

Now let us say you want to create a Jaco then you just put in a title three keywords that will help a person who's looking at maybe list the kind of get a feel.

For what it is.

That the Jaco is about.

Click create and that will create a link unique to you.

I can copy the URL and or you can just click to share on Twitter.

Now when you join the hakko this is what it will look like, right?

And so you can leave open menu, we have a text chat on the right side.

We have the title at the top.

We have another countdown timer, which again is counting down to, in the brick break session happens, we have you copy the URL.

You can click the show on Twitter again, if you need to.

Now, when a person clicks your link, they just don't hop into your room.

They actually request to join your room, so they will show up under pending You can click their username to open up their Twitter or GitHub to view their profile.

And from there, you can make a decision whether or not you want to approve or deny them, right?

So now if you do approve than a child to be a terrible person, you can always ban them and keep them out your room.

All right, now as the owner of the room, only you can share your screen.

Now, the hope is that by you share your screen, the people who are also in the room can understand fully what it is that you're working on and what you're going through in the issues or the feedback.

Back.

And you're trying to get that you're trying to work through, right?

So that's why you can show you only, you can share your screen, we have a text chat.

So if you want to, you know, Tak chat through text, you can do that by also add this enables audio chat.

So anybody who has the audio chat enabled?

We're actually been able to hear and speak with each other.

Now, for people who don't have it enabled, they're not going to miss out because all the text, all the speech is going to turn into text and then be put To the text chat for other people to follow along.

Then I have the opposite where I have enabled text to speech so if you're not looking at your the chat, maybe you have it another window or whatever another tab in your work.

At something else, the text that comes up in the text chat will be written will be spoken to you so you can kind of follow along.

All right, then?

You can also go back and check out any other ha codes and things there.

So that is it for that good.

I am gonna get you all back to work because I have got stuff a long work on depending on how far I get with this project.

I may have like, a little snippet of what I have been working on.

The kind of show.

Is this been pretty cool?

It's more than I thought it would be initially.

So there's so it's a good Learning lesson and yes, I make sure that unless somebody wants to come up and talk about them, otherwise we will talk.

Nothing else I thought in school and internet and but yeah, look forward to that.

All right, so I am going to send you all off with some traveling music.

This is Anthony Cruz, AKA butter.

The track is called, thank you.

Because I want to thank you all again for hanging out and yeah, I will, I wish you much productivity.

See you 15 minutes after the hour around 15 minutes after the hour?

And again, thanks for hanging out.

See y'all later.

And I am just sitting timer cool.

Alright, thanks again.

See you later.

This Anthony Cruz AKA but attracts call.

Thank you.

See y'all later much productivity.

I wish you.
